A proposed Sensory Gallery within the Wimmera Uniting Care, Horsham Community Hub is currently being designed by smith+tracey. The design explores themes through sound, sculpture and space to create a feeling of calmness and includes vertical gardens, sculptural hanging art, modular seating and computer pods.

A major 120 bed extension to an existing ACF in Bendigo. The new two storey wing is to replace accommodation no longer able to meet current standards. The $8.7m first stage is under construction and incorporates 60 beds and associated living/dining areas.

The building aesthetic reflects the character of Bendigo, featuring patterned brickwork, heavy recycled timbers, corrugated steel cladding and slatted sunscreens.

Anticipated completion: October 2011 Stage 1

A new $2.6m tea house and wellness facility currently under construction on a picturesque sloping site on the Olinda-Monbulk Road in Olinda, Mt Dandenong Ranges.

The building combines a glazed pavilion aesthetic with floating butterfly roof and a rich textural composition of natural materials including rammed earth, chunky laminated timber frames, recycled timber and corten panels.

Also incorporated are extensive walkway decks, individual outdoor gazebo rooms and a large al fresco dining area with opening louvre roof.
