Ted’s role is to provide leadership, direction and mentor our design teams to deliver value to our clients and the community. His collected knowledge is invaluable in developing project needs and he is particularly passionate about challenging the status quo in pursuit of achieving quality outcomes.
Ted became a Director of Smith + Tracey in 1982. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Melbourne. With over 35 years’ experience Ted has developed a planning and design capability in education, aged care, retirement living and community buildings.
Ted is still actively engaged and leading several projects with longstanding repeat clients that he has collaborated with over many years, however, it is his ambassadorial role that benefits all our projects more broadly. He personally achieves great satisfaction from guiding and encouraging our younger talented staff members as they begin their architectural journey.
