Collingwood College Indoor Sports Centre. Managed through the Victorian School Building Authority the new indoor sports centre at Collingwood College commences on site in late June 2018. Designed by Smith+Tracey Architects this exciting project will provide the College with upgraded sporting facilities to be shared with many local community based user groups, including the Collingwood Basketball Association. The modernisation of the centre provides a retained upgraded court, alongside 2 new competition standard netball and basketball courts with show court capabilities, supported by new sporting activity spaces and change facilities. Active advocate Richard Wynne, the Member for Richmond and Minister for Planning, performed the sod turn alongside the College, Collingwood Basketball Association and VSBA representatives as a celebration of the efforts invested by all involved to reach this important milestone.
