would like to congratulate Baptcare for making the finalist in the Facility of the Year, Ageing-in-Place – 6th Annual Eldercare Innovation Awards 2018 for the Strathalan development. The award is for providing the best independent senior living or retirement village environment for older adults to age-in-place with integrated care and services. The Strathalan Community project for Baptcare is a major undertaking by smith+tracey with a 6 – 8 year Masterplan for the redevelopment of over half the existing village. It includes a new 124 bed Aged Care Residence, 50 new independent living villa units and future 72 new independent living apartments in 3-4 storey buildings and a new Community & Wellness Centre. Another great outcome for the local community and the result of a collaborative partnership with client and architect.
